We're building an all-inclusive Veteran community that promotes fellowship where Veterans will be comfortable seeking support and informational services, and developing the services today’s Upper Cape Cod-area Veterans and their families need.
Joe Q Veteran Coffee Break, Inc. is an all-inclusive, nonprofit Veteran organization in Falmouth, Massachusetts. A 501(c)3 registered with the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, we represent all branches of the military and members of the community with a connection to service in the military. Conceived in 2016 and legally established as a nonprofit in May of 2020, Joe Q Veteran Coffee Break is working to improve quality of life for those that served by providing the support and information today’s Veterans and their families need.
Last year, Joe Q Veteran Coffee Break worked on building its volunteer corps, codifying foundational documents, and establishing priorities and processes for the development of Veteran programs. At the November 2019 Town Meeting, the group launched the initiative to repurpose the former senior center facility at 300 Dillingham Ave. in Falmouth as a community Veterans center. This effort aims to provide a meeting place and hub for Veterans and family members in the Falmouth area to receive information, advice and coordinated services—and enjoy a cup of coffee together.

About JOe "Q." Quintiliani
The late Joe Quintiliani (“Joe Q” to his friends) was a long-time Falmouth resident who had a distinguished career in the United States Coast Guard as a deep-sea diver, and a second career as a firefighter on Cape Cod. In recognition of his selfless service to the Veteran community, the Joe Q Veteran Coffee Break was named in his honor.
The Falmouth area Veteran coffee break concept was developed in June of 2016 by Joe and his friends who recognized the need to build fellowship among area Veterans and to provide them with vital information and guidance about programs and services available to Veterans.
Joe Quintiliani had a vision to improve quality of life for those who served by providing the support and information today’s Veterans and their families need. Joe Q Veteran Coffee Break has set a course to make Joe Q’s vision a reality for Falmouth-area Veterans and their families for many years to come.
